Non-Dress Rehearsal

All dancers and backstage volunteers must attend this rehearsal. Dancers should wear BFDC uniform and bring all shoes, towel to sit on, and a water bottle in a laundry basket labeled with their first and last name. We will run the full show in order to prepare dancers and volunteers for backstage transitions.
Due to limited space, only dancers and backstage volunteers will be allowed in the building during this rehearsal.
Dress Rehearsal

Call times indicated are the time the dancer needs to be lined up in the "Dancer Check-In" line, fully dressed in nude leotard and tights with hair and make-up ready to go on stage! We ask that only 1 adult per dancer attend dress rehearsal. Parent/Guardian attending dress rehearsal will receive a wristband with their dancer's name on it. You will need this wristband to enter dress rehearsal AND to pick up your dancer after both dress rehearsal and recital. Please come dressed and ready in your nude leotard and tights.
Dress rehearsal is a "Stop & Go" rehearsal. This may take longer than the running show time. Please be patient. The goal of dress rehearsal is to make sure each dancer feels comfortable on the stage, able to locate their spots on the stage, and get a practice run in before show time!
Dancers will need a laundry basket labeled with their first and last name to carry all shoes, towel, and water bottle to and from the dressing rooms. Laundry baskets help volunteers keep the dressing rooms organized by allowing dancers to have a designated place to drop items in when changing to help eliminate items getting mixed up between dancers.
Please send a change of clothes for dancers to put on over their nude leotard and tights for dismissal after dress rehearsal. Dancers & volunteers will reorganize costumes and shoes back into their baskets at the end of dress rehearsal before dismissing for lunch break. All costumes and shoes will stay in the dressing rooms during lunch break for show time!

Moments in Time Photography will be set up in our behind-the-scenes area to snap group and individual picutres of our dancers in costume! Every dancer will be included in the group photos!! Individual photos will be taken based on orders.
The photographer will be at the studio on Friday, December 15 during non-dress rehearsal with order forms for you to place orders. We will handle the rest while your dancer is backstage for dress rehearsal!
*Competition dancers may need to do photos during the break between dress rehearsal and recital due to costume changes.*
Holiday Recital

Call Time - 2:30pm
*All Dancers and Backstage Volunteers*
*At Benton Heights Elementary*
Dancers will need to check in and report to their dressing rooms to put on their first costume at call time. Dancers will stay backstage in their assigned dressing area with backstage volunteers the entire show. At the end of the show, all dancers will go on stage for bows.
Dancer pick up will happen at the "Dancer Check-In" table. Dancers will be sent out with their basket of belongings.
